Roofing Contractor in Los Angeles

1800 Construction Inc. replaces and repairs roofs for houses across Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley. The license is CSLB #1113641, Class B, General Building. You get a written price before work starts.

A roof job here is either a full replacement or a repair. Replacement means the old roofing comes off, the deck gets checked, and a new shingle, tile, or flat system goes down. Repair means we find the leak, fix the flashing or the worn spot, and replace decking only where it is actually soft.

We schedule this work in Los Angeles, Burbank, and Glendale, and in the San Gabriel Valley: Glendora, Covina, West Covina, San Dimas, and Azusa. The same crew also covers nearby communities on those routes, including La Verne, Claremont, Walnut, Baldwin Park, Irwindale, and Pomona. There is no second storefront. The office is 3435 Wilshire Blvd, Ste 1400, Los Angeles, CA 90010, and the inspection happens at the house.

Roofing services

Roof replacement

Tear-off and a new shingle, tile, or flat roof, built to pass the city inspection when a permit is required.

Roof repair

Leaks, storm damage, failed flashing, and localized wear. We do not sell a full replacement for a spot that can be repaired.

Waterproofing

Details that keep water out at walls, penetrations, and flat sections, not a coating tossed over a bad roof.

Roof decking

If the sheathing is rotten, it gets replaced while the roof is open. You see that cost in the estimate before we start.

How a roof project runs

  1. We inspect the roof and the attic access we can reach.
  2. You get a written estimate: material, tear-off, decking allowance, and what is not included.
  3. If the city requires a permit for that scope, the scope names who pulls it.
  4. We do the work and keep the property cleaned up as we go.
  5. Final walkthrough. The workmanship warranty is in writing.

These are jobs already documented on this site. Captions match the cities on the photos. We are not going to invent a Glendora or Covina roof page until that job is photographed.

What a roof costs

Shingle replacement

Often planned around $10,000–$30,000 for a typical single-family house in this area.

Tile or complex roofs

More than a simple shingle tear-off. Pitch, hips, and access move the price.

Leak repair

Priced after we see it. A local flashing fix is not the same job as wet decking.

These are 2026 planning ranges for the Los Angeles area, not a quote from 1800 Construction. $0-down financing is available on estimates that qualify. The price you can hold us to is the written estimate.

Where this page fits

Roofing is its own service. If the house also needs a bathroom, a kitchen, or a whole-house remodel, that scope is priced with it instead of hiring a second company for the interior.

Questions homeowners ask

Most residential re-roofs we schedule are completed in 2 to 5 days. Size, material, and how much decking has to be replaced change that. The estimate includes a schedule.

Repair fits a local leak when the rest of the roof still has service life. Replacement fits a roof that leaks in several places, is at the end of its material life, or has soft decking. We say which one after we are on the roof, not from a photo alone.

In 2026, a typical single-family architectural shingle replacement in the Los Angeles area is often planned somewhere between $10,000 and $30,000. Tile, a steep or cut-up roof, a second layer to tear off, or rotten decking costs more. A leak repair can be a few hundred dollars or several thousand if the deck is wet. These are planning ranges, not a bid. Your number comes from the inspection.

Many cities require a permit for a full re-roof. Los Angeles uses LADBS. Glendora, Covina, West Covina, San Dimas, Azusa, Burbank, and Glendale each have their own building department. The written scope says whether your job needs a permit and who pulls it.

1800 Construction Inc. holds California contractor license CSLB #1113641, Class B, General Building. It was issued December 7, 2023 and expires December 31, 2027. You can look the number up on the CSLB website before you sign.
